The third edition of India’s first-ever content market, Global Content Bazar India 2020, concluded over the February in Mumbai. The show witnessed even more interest since its second edition, with quality trade visitors interacting freely with exhibitors, buyers and sellers and engaging in a newfangled networking environment, the likes of which hasn’t been seen before.
Global Content Bazaar is an international platform for the content industry in India and comes alive every February to introduce the latest developments in the content industry in the field of television, radio, all genres of film, music, mobile applications, and video games.
Global Content Bazar 2020 was inaugurated by the Indian and international exhibitors by lighting the lamp and approximately 1500+ people attended the show. The ‘Monetizing of Moving Images’ conference was partnered by Adamas University that held court on both days in adjunction with the buyers and sellers market witnessed more than 30 speakers presenting papers on the latest trends monetizing content in a constantly-evolving industry.
“We have created a common platform for content creators/ producers and content buyers, distributors, licensors to come under one roof and have a B2B business environment where they can sell or buy their content,” mentioned Global Content Bazar India managing director Ramesh Meer.
Javada Film and content providers, buyers and sellers like Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), Ultra Media & Entertainment, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Arab Cinema Center- The Imaginarium, Green Gold Animation, Bonneville Distribution, Harbour Rights, Fuji Creative Corporation, Impossible Films, Latin Media Corporation, Medialink Entertainment, Mondotv Spa, Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, TV Tokyo, WEPLAY, You Need Character, One Take Media Co., Global One Enterprise, among others made their presence felt at the show and in the Indian content industry. Javada Film presented their catalog and distribution list with almost 70 plus companies participating from the USA, Japan, Russia, Hong Kong, Jordan, Egypt, Korea, UAE, and India, and a visitor footfall of 1500 plus.
During the GCB 2020 a large number of producers and distributors from Indian studios, platforms and companies were surprised and interested of the quality of the Iranian Cinema from the past few years.
During the company’s meetings with representatives from the Indian film industry were signed several contracts for cooperation with organizations from Bangladesh, Malasia, Taiwan,Thailand and many other countries. The constant interest towards the Iranian cinema has opened many new possibilities for distribution of Iranian films from all kinds of genres. At the invitation of the University of Adams, Javada Film will continue its partnership with them and this year will send Bulgarian and Iranian film content for participation in prestigious Indian forums.
During the exhibition a large number of Iranian films were presented, for which the company has already received some requests for the sale of TV rights, remakes and dubbing.
Javada Film’s partnerships in India were continued and confirmed with the company’s participation in Berlinale 2020 a week later, where again our catalogue of not only Iranian and Bulgarian films, but also Indian and Malasian, gained a lot of interest.
With every subsequent participation in the most famous and respected cinematographic exhibitions, Javada Film strengthens its position as a company, which presents a variety of quality cinema. In this way, The Company establishes its place as film ambassador of Bulgarian, Iranian, Indian and many more Asian content.
At the GLOBAL CONTENT BAZAAR 2020 in Mumbai, India, were also presented the new additions of the company’s catalogue. The new additions are the last three movies of the famous Bulgarian director Niki Iliev, e.g. “All She Wrote”, “The Foreigner”, “Living Legends” with the participation of famous European and US co-stars like Christoph Lambert, Mikele Plachido and Gary Dourdan; Iranian feature films like “A Hell of a Wedding” by Seyed Reza Khatibi Sarabi , “Footwork” by Mazdak Mirabedini, the animated “Kelileh & Demneh” by Alireza Tavakoli Bina and several projects at co-production stage like “Shepherd” by Milena Andonova, which is the first feature fiction authirs based on the vitae of Saint Yoan of Rilla, patron saint of the Bulgarian people, and the absurd comedy “Last Call” by Ivaylo Penchev.
In the following months the company will add to its catalogue a content of over 200 films from Asia and will grow its distribution network in the Asian countries and Africa. Also, In August Javada Film will take part in the professional forum FILMART in Hong Kong, where we hope to present even greater list of films, in partnership with proven companies.
